  • What devices and operating systems are supported?

Currently MyLife+ is made to be compatible with the following platforms.

iOS: iPhone 5 and newer with operating system of iOS 8 or newer.

Android: All recent flagship devices from the major Android manufacturers will be supported (Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola and Sony) with an operating system version of Android 4.1 or newer.

  • Some features don't work for me

Although we have made MyLife+ compatible with the above devices and operating systems the app will perform best on the latest technology. If you experience issues with your device and it is listed as supported above please contact us.

  • Where is my data stored?

Your MyLife+ data is stored on your device. Only you and people with access to your device can access your app data. There is an optional password set up step at sign-up to protect people accessing your MyLife+ app.

  • With iOS, how do I back up my MyLife+ data if I am upgrading my device but don't want to lose my data?

For iOS users you can use either iCloud Backup or iTunes Backup. iCloud Backup can occur over a wi-fi network automatically. iTunes Backup can occur by plugging the device into a Mac or PC and selecting to create a backup.

  • With Android, how do I back up my MyLife+ data if I am upgrading my device but don't want to lose my data?

Since Android 6.0, Android has offered the Auto Backup for Apps. Auto Backup preserves app data by uploading it to the user's Google Drive account.

Backups occur automatically when all of the following conditions are met:

    • The user has enabled backup on the device in Settings > Backup & Reset.
    • At least 24 hours have elapsed since the last backup.
    • The device is idle and charging.
    • The device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

If the same Google account is used, this data can be used to restore your MyLife+ app data on another Android device.

  • If I back up my phone to my computer what happens to my data?

The file that is backed up is an encrypted .realm database file. The only way to unencrypted the database is using the key that is stored in the users device Keychain. iTunes also provides the option to encrypt the backup itself.

  • Can I use MyLife+ on multiple devices at the same time with the same data?

As your MyLife+ data is stored on your device there is no way to sync to multiple devices in real time at this point in time.

  • Can I access the app outside of  Australia?

To find the MyLife+ app within Google Play and the iOS App Store you must be registered with your country as Australia within your Google Play and Apple accounts. Users who are can download and access the app from anywhere in the world.

  • Does the app support vision impaired?

For iOS users, as of app version 1.0.2 MyLife+ will support Dynamic Type. You can increase the app font size by going to your device Settings, Display & Brightness, Text Size, and updating the slider.
